About the position

Tech Stack

  • Frontend: Vue.js/Nuxt3, Node.js, nginx
  • Backend: Go, TypeScript, PHP8, Laravel
  • Data Store: Aurora MySQL, Redis
  • Environment: AWS, ECS (Fargate), Docker
  • Version Control: GitHub, Bitbucket
  • UI Design: Adobe XD, Figma
  • Others: Flutter, Slack, Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new features for StudyWorks
  • Operate and maintain StudyWorks

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in both backend and frontend development
  • Experience developing products with teams of 10-20 people or more
  • 2+ years of experience in development and operations in an environment similar to our tech stack
  • Technical expertise and experience in one of the following: DevOps, SRE, data infrastructure, or automated testing
  • Development experience in cloud environments such as AWS
  • Conversational Japanese

Nice to haves

While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.

  • Experience in the development and operation of healthcare-related systems
  • Experience with the development and operation of microservices architecture
  • Ability to design and develop with performance and scalability in mind
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders in product development
  • Knowledge and experience in Database (RDBMS), networking, Linux, monitoring systems, logging, operations, and SLO/SLA/SRE
  • Extensive knowledge in object-oriented software development, networking, memory management, and software testing
  • Experience in Scrum/Agile development

Compensation

6.5 to 8 million JPY annually.
