Responsibilities
- Lead technical decision-making and development efforts
- Optimize the architecture of multiple microservices and drive technical debt reduction projects
- Improve development processes within a team of 10-20 engineers
- Enhance code quality through code reviews and other best practices
- Design and develop new features for StudyWorks
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in both backend and frontend development
- 2+ years of experience as a technical leader, driving technology selection and implementation for mission-critical areas in a product of 10-20 engineers
- 3+ years of experience working in an environment similar to our tech stack
- Expertise in one of the following: DevOps, SRE, data infrastructure, or automated testing
- Experience developing in cloud environments such as AWS
- Conversational Japanese

- Ability to design and develop with performance and scalability in mind
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders in product development

- Extensive knowledge in object-oriented software development, networking, memory management, and software testing
- Experience in Scrum/Agile development
Compensation
7 to 12 million JPY annually.
