About the position

This position primarily involves research and development of autonomous mobile systems using simulation and deep reinforcement learning techniques for a highly important project within Corpy.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, implementing, experimenting with, and evaluating deep reinforcement learning algorithms using simulation environments
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends in deep reinforcement learning and world models
  • Providing reports to stakeholders to communicate progress and results
  • Effectively managing time and resources to deliver high-quality solutions

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience in reinforcement learning and deep learning (approximately 2 years or more)

Nice to haves

While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.

  • PhD/MS or equivalent research and development experience in machine learning in fields such as computer science, statistics, or physics
  • Practical experience in developing AI systems
  • Practical experience in data science
  • Proficiency in Japanese sufficient for client communication

Compensation

6.23 to 15.3 million JPY annually.

Hiring Process

    First interview

    Simple assignment

    We’ll send you a simple assignment with a one-week deadline. After you submit it, we’ll provide feedback within a couple of days.

    Second interview

    You’ll present your work on the assignment, we’ll ask you some technical questions, and we’ll discuss terms.

  4. 4

    Final decision

    In less than a month from application (typically a couple of weeks), we should complete the entire process.
