About the position

We are looking for a talented Full Stack JavaScript Engineer living in Japan or willing to relocate and help us to build out new innovative apps. Our ideal candidate loves to prototype new ideas and has a passion for working with modern web technologies.

As a Full Stack JavaScript Engineer you will be working on an undisclosed project that utilizes AI & Deep Learning for content translation. You will be working on both the frontend and backend using VueJS and TypeScript with a team of other passionate engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Build elegant and robust software using modern technologies
  • Write clear and maintainable code that passes peer review
  • Understand product goals and requirements, and translate them into working software
  • Contribute to the team development by improving methods, workflow and tooling

Required Skills

  • Good understanding of TypeScript/JavaScript and Web technologies
  • Experience building web services or applications
  • Experience working in a development team and used to Agile methods
  • Strong sense of project ownership and responsibility
  • Bachelor’s Degree (required for working visa)

Preferred

  • Experience working with VueJS
  • Experience working with Cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
  • AI or Deep Learning experience
  • Knowledge about UI/UX and how to build user friendly interfaces
