About the position

We are seeking software engineers to work on next-generation features and improvements using AI and LiDAR.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and propose innovative products to significantly enhance productivity and safety at construction sites, creating new value for customers.
  • Design, develop, and implement software for construction machinery products used in 27 countries worldwide, including feature improvements and advancements utilizing AI and LiDAR.
  • Contribute to global development and support, with opportunities for future involvement in projects at international locations.

Requirements

  • Experience and skills in software design, coding, and testing for IoT systems
  • 5+ years of experience developing commercial applications using Unity
  • Experience in team-based development utilizing Git
  • Business-level Japanese proficiency (N2 or higher)

Nice to haves

While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.

  • Proficiency and experience in programming languages (e.g., C++, C#)
  • Knowledge and experience in civil engineering and design (e.g., CAD)
  • Experience in developing and operating systems using cloud services (e.g., AWS)
  • Knowledge and experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
  • Understanding of networks (e.g., internet, communication protocols) and experience in network setup
  • Knowledge of system security, including data encryption, access control, and risk assessment

Compensation

6 to 10 million JPY annually.
