At MFBC (Money Forward Business Company), we primarily develop and operate the B2B service “Money Forward Cloud”. Money Forward Cloud is a component-based cloud ERP where users can choose combinations according to their needs, and it consists of multiple products. However, if multiple products are developed individually, it leads to data fragmentation, a decline in the combined user experience, and worsening development efficiency. Therefore, strategic standardization is necessary. Our Business Platform Development Department is responsible for building this common platform and promoting its stable use by each product.
This recruitment is for an Engineering Manager in the Domain Specific Platform Development Division of the Business Platform Development Department. Compared to purely technical platforms like authentication and notifications, the Domain Specific Platform Development Division is responsible for developing and operating platforms that deeply handle domain knowledge, such as voucher storage for receipts and invoices, and chart of accounts masters. We expect you to grasp future company strategies, the current state of the platform, and the needs of each product team, then draw up the optimal strategy and lead the creation of an engineering organization to execute it.
The Business Platform Development Department has multinational engineers from countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Indonesia, Taiwan, and so on. Furthermore, we collaborate closely with engineers belonging to Money Forward Vietnam, requiring the practice of effective organization building in a multicultural and multi-location environment. We are not aiming for so-called offshore development, but rather a flat organization where everyone, regardless of affiliation or location, can commit to product creation with high enthusiasm.
We are looking for an Engineering Manager who is passionate about tackling both technical and organizational challenges.
