About the position

To support our expanding global operations, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global IT Division Manager to lead our IT Support and ID/Device Management teams. This pivotal role will drive efficiency and security for our employees worldwide, directly contributing to Money Forward Group’s continued globalization by ensuring seamless support and robust management of Windows and macOS devices, as well as user identities within Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra ID.

About our teams

IT Support Team

The IT Support team ensures that MoneyForward employees’ IT infrastructure operates at maximum performance and safety. This team maintains and provides technical support for IT systems and equipment. They are also responsible for troubleshooting MoneyForward’s internal systems and making improvements where necessary.

ID/Device Management Team

The ID/Device Management Team is responsible for the development and operation of the authentication/authorization infrastructure used by Money Forward members to access our information systems. The team also manages and maintains computers and devices using MDM platforms. Additionally, the team conducts research and PoCs on new technologies to improve MoneyForward’s information systems.

Responsibilities

  • Providing strategic leadership and managing the day-to-day operations of both the Global IT Support and ID/Device Management teams.
  • Driving continuous improvement in IT support and device/identity management processes.
  • Developing and implementing global device policies for Windows and macOS, enforced through MDM solutions (Intune and Jamf Pro). Establishing standard device specifications across the group for both operating systems.
  • Overseeing the secure management and maintenance of user accounts in Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Ensuring high user satisfaction with global IT support services.
  • Mentoring team members and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
  • Collaborating effectively with other IT teams and stakeholders.
  • Managing budgets and resources for both teams.
  • Monitoring performance metrics and providing insightful reports.
  • Staying abreast of the latest IT trends in support, device, and identity management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing IT teams, specifically in support and device/identity management.
  • Strong working knowledge of both macOS and Windows environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Jamf Pro for macOS device management.
  • Practical experience managing Windows environments and utilizing Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience creating and implementing device policies for macOS and Windows.
  • Solid understanding of device lifecycle management and basic TCP/IP networking.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to haves

While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.

  • Experience optimizing device management using MDM solutions (Intune and Jamf Pro) in a global context.
  • Experience managing user accounts and configurations in both Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Experience implementing and managing security policies on end-user devices.
  • Familiarity with IT service management
  • Experience with scripting or automation for IT tasks.
  • Japanese ability

Compensation

11 to 15 million JPY annually.
