About the position

As an Android Engineer, you will be collaborating with engineers, designers and QAs, and working in an environment where you can be one of the founding members to build up a new organization within PayPay Securities.

Responsibilities

  • PayPay Securities Native App Development and Operations (Java, Kotlin)
  • Work closely with product managers and product designers to customize the asset management and investment experience
  • Prototype development of new features and renewal designs
  • Technical tasks including unit test improvements and architecture improvements, etc.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of in-house Android application development experience
  • Object-oriented design and experience developing in Java or Kotlin
  • Knowledge of modern mobile app development methodologies and Android frameworks
  • Experience with Rest API integration
  • Able to work with a strong sense of ownership

Nice to haves

While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.

  • Experience developing securities and finance related applications
  • Experience developing functionality while implementing unit tests (TDD)
  • Experience with agile development
  • Experience using CI/CD tools (e.g Bitrise)
  • Experience in in-house service operation
