About the position

Responsibilities

  • Conduct test design based on specifications and requirements
  • Plan and manage test schedules
  • Prepare for test execution. Deliver test results while managing test status, progress, and resources
  • Carry out tests by effectively coordinating and collaborating with product managers and engineers
  • Identify improvement opportunities, propose actions, and improve QA and development processes
  • Lead and manage vendor partners to deliver results on time

Requirements

  • Experience in working for system development (incl. Agile development) as an engineer, project manager, or QA manager in the IT/Web industry. This position requires good communication and negotiation with engineers for QA management and defect reporting. Thus, a successful candidate should well understand the details of the assigned project and implementation at the development stage
  • Proven track record of project management experience. Experience in delivery and resource management under a fast-paced agile development team).

Nice to haves

  • Experience in testing smartphone applications
  • Experience in managing System Testing and Acceptance Testing
  • Experience in managing test execution and test schedule under an agile development for application products
  • Experience in running projects by coordinating with vendor partners and other internal stakeholders
  • Experience in system development within finance and/or payment industry

Compensation

6.5 to 10 million JPY annually.
