RevComm Research (RCR) is an independent division within RevComm that specializes in leveraging AI technology to invent novel forms of communication. With a primary focus on speech recognition, natural language processing, and multimodal AI, RCR is dedicated to visualizing diverse aspects of previously imperceptible communication.
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our talented team of engineers and drive the successful execution of our engineering projects. As an Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the development and delivery of high-quality products, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Leadership. Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture that encourages innovation, growth, and accountability.
- Project Management. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define project objectives, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring successful and timely completion of engineering projects while adhering to quality standards.
- Talent Development. Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent, creating a supportive environment for skill-building, career advancement, and continuous learning.
- Technical Excellence. Drive technical excellence by implementing best practices, promoting knowledge sharing, and staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, fostering a culture of innovation and quality in engineering deliverables.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an engineering manager.
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- A deep understanding based on experience in agile software development.
- A deep understanding based on experience with OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
Nice to haves

- Expertise in SRE / Infrastructure / Backend development.
- Practical experience as a product manager.
- Understanding of machine learning and experience in product development using machine learning.
- Proficiency in Python or Golang.
- Experience in building and operating CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions.
- Experience in building and operating build systems using tools like Pants or Bazel.
- Experience in monorepo development.
- Experience in large-scale data processing, distributed systems, batch processing, streaming processing, etc.
Compensation
8 to 14 million JPY annually.
