About the position

We are a leading SaaS company in the cyber security industry, specializing in a range of innovative solutions to combat cyber threats, including ad fraud countermeasures within the ad-tech space. As a Senior Engineer in our Tokyo office, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge security solutions that span multiple areas of cyber security. You will lead key engineering projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers to build secure and scalable systems that protect our clients from a wide range of cyber threats.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering, including 3+ years leading a development team.
  • Strong expertise in Elixir, the Phoenix Framework, and modern DevOps practices on cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
  • Experience with modern JS frameworks such as Vue.js for front-end development.
  • Solid understanding of secure coding practices, system scalability, and performance optimization. -Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills, with the ability to drive technical discussions and architectural decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to haves

While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.

  • Experience in the ad-tech industry or working with ad fraud prevention technologies.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies, such as GCP BigQuery or ClickHouse.
  • Proficiency in Japanese communication, both written and spoken.

Compensation

9 to 12 million JPY annually.
