About the position

As a Senior Product Manager at Synspective, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our analytics platform. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, data scientists, and developers, to create innovative solutions that empower both internal and external users. Your responsibilities will span various aspects of product development, from understanding user needs to driving successful product launches.

Responsibilities

  • Customer-Centric Approach:
    • Gain a deep understanding of customer requirements.
    • Identify and address product gaps, generating new ideas to enhance customer experience and drive growth..
  • Product Vision and Alignment:
    • Create buy-in for the product vision internally and with key external partners.
    • Develop pricing and positioning strategies to maximize product value.
  • Requirements and Prototypes:
    • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
    • Collaborate closely with engineering and scientific teams to ensure efficient development and quick time-to-market.
  • Prioritization and Impact:
    • Scope and prioritize activities based on business impact and customer needs.
    • Gain a deep understanding of our technology and identify how we can leverage it to meet user needs.
    • Help the team avoid over-engineering solutions to accelerate product launch, learning and iterative development.
  • Product Launches:
    • Drive successful product launches by coordinating efforts with public relations, marketing, sales, executives, and external stakeholders.
  • Promotional Strategy:
    • Evaluate promotional plans to align with the overall product line strategy.
    • Ensure effective communication of the product’s value proposition.
  • Evangelism and Awareness:
    • Act as a product evangelist, building awareness and understanding of our analytics platform.
    • Engage with industry stakeholders and thought leaders.
  • Market Research and Risk Mitigation:
    • Conduct market research to identify user needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
    • Assess and mitigate risks associated with product development and deployment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Strong analytical skills and user feedback driven decision-making abilities
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Bachelor or Master Degrees in Engineering, Science or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with data-driven products – a product where the data is the product, and the quality of the data is paramount.
  • Business level Japanese
