About the position

The Data team develops and runs data pipelines, preparing dashboards and data insights for internal data stakeholders to enable them to understand customer utilisation and support pricing / metering activities. We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about data quality to join our team. As part of the team you will be responsible for the company’s data technologies that empower stakeholders to make timely data-informed decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and organizing data
  • Builing and orchestrating data pipelines to deliver reliable data products
  • Building reports, visualizations and interpreting trends and patterns
  • You’ll own and operate the data products that you build

Requirements

  • Extensive experience on Python, SQL and working with distributed query engines
  • Development of production level code
  • Experience in workflow orchestration tools
  • Strong sense of project ownership and responsibility
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with remote teams across time zones
  • Growth mindset with a drive to take on new challenges and opportunities and stay on top of new technology advancements

Nice to haves

These aren’t required, but be sure to mention them in your application if you have them.

  • Experience with SQL composition frameworks, ex dbt or Dataform
  • Previous experience working with data, data governance, and data regulation compliance
  • Any of the following : Developed services to run in a fully managed cloud environment, integration with BI tools, made open source contributions, experience with agile development
  • Working with internal partners from various perspectives to evaluate business needs
