About the position

Responsibilities

  • Provide support in the design, testing and implementation of engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team and assist in product development.
  • Participate in code review, documentation and troubleshooting code.
  • Maintain and improve system infrastructure.
  • Engage and contribute in brainstorming and discussion sessions.

Requirements

  • Education: No degree requirement. However, a degree is likely required if you need to obtain a Japanese working visa.
  • Teamwork: Proven record of success working collaboratively within a team.
  • Achievement: Accomplished something on your own.
  • Quick to learn: Ability to proactively and autonomously learn across multiple fields.
  • Coding experience: Experience in software development using Golang or Java.
  • Infrastructure: Experience in software development using cloud infrastructure e.g, AWS, GCP or Azure.
  • Conversational Japanese ability.
  • You are passionate about financial markets.
  • You are obsessed with customer feedback.
  • You’re never tired of learning. You continue to learn the latest technologies as well as customer behavior to come up with decisions on how to build and scale.
  • You have a “own it” attitude. Owning a problem doesn’t scare you, but rather empowers you to take 100% responsibility for achieving our mission.
