About the position

As the Engineering Manager - Journey Channels at Zeals, you’ll lead a talented team of backend and frontend engineers, driving the development of cohesive integration solutions crucial for our AI-driven products. Your role is pivotal in orchestrating seamless collaboration and innovation across engineering domains, ensuring our product’s success through efficient integration practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of user-centric frontend solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Set priorities, budgets, roadmaps, and goals for the frontend team in coordination with product management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define development requirements and ensure alignment with product goals.
  • Recruit, mentor, and grow a professional team consisting of frontend/backend developers
  • Promote a culture of ownership and accountability over our development processes, making them seamless and efficient.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of management experience in frontend/backend engineering teams.
  • A deep understanding of frontend technologies, UI/UX design principles, and integration patterns.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching abilities with both frontend and backend engineers.
  • Experience in project management, prioritization, and roadmap planning.
  • A proven track record of delivering integrated solutions that meet business requirements.
