As Big Data Engineer, you will work closely with our infrastructure team to improve existing data infrastructure and design, implement new big data infrastructure to capture even more data, integrate with third-party systems which gather related data (such as mobile app analytics data or system error reporting data), and allow efficient use for analytics and modeling.
You will also work closely with our data scientist to help execute our data acquisition strategy and enable utilization of our data in an optimal manner. You assure that we put strong data governance in place. You have a keen understanding of the business value of finding trends and meaning in data.
Requirements
- Big data infrastructure (3+ years)
- Chosen and setup up a data warehouse from scratch
- Integrated various data sources into a data warehouse
- Evaluated system performance and bottlenecks, and recommended improvements
