We’re looking for a QA Lead to drive quality across our products through test automation and AI.
Working alongside the QA Manager, you’ll lead our automation strategy—from designing and implementing automated tests to integrating them into our CI/CD pipelines. You’ll also serve as the technical bridge between our QA teams in Japan and India, helping establish consistent quality standards and best practices across a global engineering organization.
While the QA Manager focuses on people management and team development, this role is responsible for technical leadership, automation, AI adoption, and cross-border collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead Test Automation
- Design and implement end-to-end automated tests using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or CodeceptJS
- Select, build, and standardize our test automation framework
- Integrate automated testing into GitHub Actions and improve our CI/CD testing infrastructure
- Identify manual testing areas and prioritize automation opportunities
- Apply AI to Quality Engineering
- Evaluate and introduce AI-powered approaches for test generation, test case design, and defect analysis
- Integrate AI tools and coding agents into QA workflows to improve productivity and quality
- Drive Global QA Collaboration
- Align testing and automation strategies across our QA teams in Japan and India
- Act as the technical bridge between Japanese- and English-speaking team members
- Build knowledge-sharing and code review practices across multiple locations
- Improve Product Quality
- Mentor QA engineers through technical guidance and code reviews
- Identify quality issues across multiple products and propose improvements
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with test automation using one or more of the following: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or CodeceptJS
- Professional experience using AI to improve test automation and software quality
- Experience integrating and maintaining automated tests in CI/CD environments
- Professional experience in software QA and test design
- Business-level English proficiency
- Basic business-level Japanese proficiency

Compensation
¥8,000,000 ~ ¥12,000,000 annually.
