As a Full Stack Engineer at NaLaLys, you will lead database design, API design, and frontend design — and implement them hands-on — for our AI-powered compliance SaaS product series. This role goes beyond feature implementation: you will own the architecture decisions that directly affect product value, reliability, and extensibility, from external system integrations and AI integrations to structural decisions for a multi-product platform.
Responsibilities
- Full-cycle Development: Design, implement, and operate features across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, owning the complete development lifecycle.
- Architecture Design: Lead technology selection and architecture decisions with future scalability, multi-product expansion, and external system integrations in mind.
- Performance, Security, and Reliability: Drive continuous improvements considering performance, security, and system reliability.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Product Management (PdM), Customer Success (CS), and Business Operations (BizOps) to organize requirements and define specifications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with web application development across the full stack.
- Experience taking features from requirements definition through design, implementation, and testing as a single responsible owner.
- Experience leading technology selection and architecture design for production systems.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Business-level Japanese proficiency required for non-native speakers.
- Currently residing in the Greater Tokyo Area, or willing to relocate.
Nice to haves

- Experience with TypeScript, React, Python, or Go is preferred.
- Prior work experience at a Japanese company is a plus.
- Experience leading architecture design for enterprise B2B software serving large organizations
- Track record of structuring cross-organizational technical challenges and driving proposals
- Experience launching new B2B SaaS products from scratch, with an understanding of how the business model shapes technical decisions
Compensation
¥7,800,000 ~ ¥10,800,000 annually.
