Raptor Financial Technologies is seeking an Infrastructure/Application Support Engineer to join our growing financial trading technology company. Raptor is a leading ultra-low-latency market access and risk management platform, servicing the world’s largest financial institutions and their high-value order flows.
Join our dynamic team to support mission-critical trading systems and infrastructure. The role is suited to a candidate with basic networking and Linux skills who is looking for a hands-on role in operational support in mission-critical technology.
This role requires being onsite in central Tokyo 2–3 days a week, with the remaining days as remote work.
Responsibilities

Oversee client onboarding and integration processes

Test, document, and release new and existing software systems into production

Monitor trading systems and related infrastructure, ensuring stability and performance

Document incidents, track bugs, and conduct root cause analysis

Collaborate with technical teams to communicate system health and client trading status
Requirements

1–2 years of experience in infrastructure or application support

Hands-on Linux experience, including log analysis (grep, awk, sed) and text editors (vi, emacs)

Shell scripting
-
Version control (Git, Subversion, Mercurial)

Knowledge of ticketing systems and issue tracking practices

Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Self-starter with a “can-do” attitude and collaborative mindset
Nice to haves
