About the position

Weʼre now looking for a Lead Growth Product Manager to drive user growth and engagement as we scale Cotomo globally. Youʼll own the strategy and execution of key growth initiatives across product, data, and user experience— helping bring emotionally intelligent characters to millions more.

This is a cross-functional leadership role, perfect for someone whoʼs passionate about consumer tech, creative experimentation, and building for global scale.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the growth roadmap, from activation to retention to virality.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and data to develop, test, and scale growth features.
  • Launch experiments and campaigns to drive signups, returning users, and new markets.
  • Work closely with leadership to shape the long-term product direction.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience in consumer tech
  • 3+ years focused on user growth or subscription-driven products.
  • Proven success in executing both rapid experiments and long-term initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of the AI landscape, trends, and user behavior

Nice to haves

While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.

  • Passion for anime, manga, or voice-driven character experiences.
  • Experience with monetization strategies for consumer subscriptions.
  • Experience as a game producer or game director, especially in narrative or character-driven titles.
  • Startup or 0->1 product experience.

Compensation

Starting from 9 million JPY annually.

With performance-based stock options.
