The Staff/Senior Prompt Engineer will be instrumental in developing and optimizing our system’s functionality, ensuring the best possible application of LLM technologies like GPTs and Claude. This role requires an individual who is adept at navigating the nuances of various LLMs, selecting the most appropriate model for each task, and crafting prompts that maximize the potential of these models to meet our business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of prompt engineering strategies across various Large Language Models (GPTs, Claude, etc.) to enhance our CDP’s functionality.
- Evaluate and select the most suitable LLMs for different tasks, considering factors such as performance, cost, and ease of integration
- Develop and refine prompts that effectively leverage the unique capabilities of each chosen model to fulfill specific marketing and data analysis objectives.
- Collaborate with the machine learning team to integrate AI-driven insights and functionalities into our platform, enhancing customer data analysis and personalization capabilities.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in LLMs and prompt engineering, assessing new models and techniques for potential application within our platform.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development, 2+ years with a strong focus on AI and prompt engineering.
- Expertise in working with major Large Language Models such as GPTs, Claude, and others, with a proven track record of developing effective prompts.
- Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and how they apply to prompt engineering and data processing.
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to AI and machine learning, such as Python.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication abilities, capable of conveying complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
