Wizcorp is looking for Mobile Game Developers with good experience of HTML5/CSS3 and JavaScript to join their team.
In this role, you will be asked to:
- Work with the latest 2D and 3D web-based technologies
- Create and implement compelling gameplay mechanics
- Program the user interface based on the game design provided by the producer
- Implement game logic using our awesome in-house game server
- Comply with and reinforce development best practices
- Implement visual effects using HTML5/CSS3, tweening libraries and custom tools
Required skills
- 3+ years of JavaScript or TypeScript experience (front-end and/or back-end)
- Understanding of WebGL or other 3D rendering API (OpenGL, DirectX)
- Superior knowledge of HTML5/CSS3/Canvas interface implementation
- Second programming language (C/C++/ObjC, C#, Java, Python, Go, PHP, Ruby, etc.)
- Git knowledge
Desired skills
- Experience with smartphone and/or social game development
- Experience with non-web game engines, such as Unity, Cocos or Unreal Engine
- Experience with WebGL and/or WebGL engines, such as PlayCanvas or Three.js
- Experience implementing gameplay mechanics using a game engine
- Node.js and related development tools knowledge
- Knowledge of and/or experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
