KATIX is a fast-growing auction platform built for transparency and trust. We connect sellers of high value items to bidders. We only allow companies and businesses to participate as bidders. We’ve started with motorcycles and cars and ours is a modern digital marketplace, and we’re expanding. Our focus is on expansion but we’ll likely tackle another industry unrelated to vehicles in the near future, and we’re building the team that will take us there.
Build the future with us
Our company is rapidly expanding in order to bring our roadmap to life. The current plan is to triple the company in size by 2027. Part of this plan includes doubling our engineering team. This means you’ll be shaping the foundation of what we build, with a huge say in both the decision and development processes. If you’re looking for an opportunity to make a real impact, not just maintain a legacy product, and you’d rather not just be a generic cog in a giant machine, then this is the place for you.
Enjoy your work
We believe work should be enjoyable, not exhausting. Our company has been around for 20 years (We just had our 20 year anniversary) across various services, and long-time employees speak highly of the supportive and friendly environment. Even as a newcomer, you’ll quickly find that this is a comfortable and engaging place to work.
note: We renamed the company from Interfirm to KATIX last summer to match with the brand of the platform.
A social and connected team
We encourage collaboration across teams, even covering the cost of lunch when three or more people eat together. Our engineering team regularly eats together, drinks together, hangs out outside of work, joins large tech events/conferences, and even hosts optional weekly study sessions for non-work-related learning.
We also cover in-house Japanese Language lessons via a professional teacher. The majority of the costs are paid for by the company.
A diverse team, growing even more so
Company-wide, our gender ratio is close to 50/50, and While most employees are Japanese, we have a growing number of international team members, especially in the engineering department.
