About the position

We are seeking a visual designer to work with the Launchpad product and go-to-market teams to create stunning visual collateral for a wide array of ventures spanning diverse audiences, domains, geographies and languages. Additionally, the visual designer will support the development of brand guidelines, design playbooks and internal studio projects.

Our idea visual designer will have well-informed design perspectives, backed in deep experience and exceptional work products. They will actively seek ownership and accountability and will thrive in high-velocity environments. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product designers, product managers and go-to-market teams to strategize distinct visual and brand identities which will resonate with target audiences.
  • Design a wide range of visual collateral for Launchpad ventures, including (but not limited to): digital ads, social media collateral, animations, videos, illustrations, logos, brand guidelines, pitch decks, infographics, and physical merchandise.
  • Support internal marketing and talent acquisition efforts by creating visual collateral including (but not limited to): stakeholder presentations, concept visualizations for learning programs, social media collateral, and studio branded goods.
  • Support the product and go-to-market teams in conducting user research to understand the resonance of visual collateral with target audiences and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to defining and delivering scalable design and branding frameworks, systems and processes to be leveraged as the Fujitsu Launchpad product team grows

Requirements

  • Stunning portfolio demonstrating exceptional skill in creating visual product and marketing collateral in a variety of forms (e.g., digital graphics, animations, videos) for diverse target audiences, markets and use cases.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a visual design role, ideally within a product or marketing team in a startup or scale-up environment.
  • Highly proficient in design software, including Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere).
  • Exceptional visual, presentation and communication skills. Strong copywriting skills are a big plus.
  • Experience working in a user-centric, data-informed environment, with the ability to iterate design work based on user research findings, KPIs and strategic objectives.
  • Excellent critical thinking capabilities, with the ability to learn quickly, work effectively cross-functionally across unfamiliar markets and industries, and rapidly iterate to drive growth.
  • Business-level Japanese communication skills.
