About the position

As a Product Designer of MANA, you will strive to empower users by designing AI-driven solutions that enhance their daily workflows. Take ownership of the entire design process, collaborating closely with a supportive team of designers, product managers, and developers to deliver the best possible web platform experiences. You will leverage your expertise in AI and LLM technologies to advocate for users, develop innovative solutions to complex challenges, and ensure our products stay ahead of the latest design and technology trends.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership & Collaboration
    • Work closely with team members together with Senior Product Designer to commit to project from UX to UI design.
    • Deep understanding of the concept and requirements, proposing a UX flow that considers inclusiveness, comprehensiveness, and consistency, and finalizing the UI design.
  • UI/UX Design
    • Conducting design surveys and organizing insights gathered from various references.
    • Craft detailed user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that balance usability with business objectives.
    • Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design hand-off and promptly address any design-related issues.
  • Design System
    • Reuse, maintain, and develop design system components and patterns to ensure consistency across all products.

Requirements

  • Strong portfolio showcasing past project in product design is a must
  • 2-3 years of experience in UI/UX design (flexible based on ability)
  • Hands-on experience in writing design specifications and managing the hand-off process.
  • Strong knowledge of components and design systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to haves

While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.

  • Experienced in web design with a solid understanding of Responsive Web Design (RWD).
  • Hands-on experience with design thinking and user-centered design methodologies.
  • Experience in in-house and AI/LLM-driven products.
  • Conversational proficiency in Japanese.

Compensation

¥5,500,000 ~ ¥7,000,000 annually.
