About the position

We are looking for a motivated Product Designer (UI/UX Designer) with a passion for product design to join our team to work on reshaping complex products with intuitive and effective solutions in the cloud security industry. Fluency in both English and Japanese is a must, along with strong communication skills to seamlessly collaborate with our cross-functional teams.

You will be working in a leading cloud-based security provider in Japan, focusing on projects related to our flagship product, HENNGE One, which offers access control, email archiving, and other security and productivity-related functionalities for enterprise companies. Therefore, experience in BtoB projects or a strong interest in this field would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Develop visually appealing and user-centered designs based on requirements and research findings.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers in the design process for new features and enhancements.
  • Utilize our established design system to maintain consistency and coherence across our interfaces.
  • Continuously improve user experience through iterative design and feedback analysis.
  • Advocate for user-centred design principles and contribute to the refinement of our design system.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining design documentation, including style guides, design principles, and user personas.
  • Work closely with customer support teams to address user feedback and identify areas for product improvement.

Requirements

  • Three years of experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on product design.
  • Proficiency in Figma for design collaboration and prototyping.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen analytical mindset.
  • Good communication skills in both English and Japanese (N2 and above).
  • Willingness to learn more about product design and conduct user interviews.
  • Live, plan to live, or relocate within commuting distance of our Tokyo office

Nice to haves

While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.

  • Experience working in the security-related industry
  • Experience working with design systems.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices to ensure inclusivity in design solutions.
  • Experience conducting user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to inform design decisions.

Compensation

¥6,800,000 ~ ¥9,300,000 annually.

Our salary range is inclusive of English Allowance & Physical Communication Bonus - please check the details below, with the final amount determined based on your experience and skills.

Benefits

  • English Allowance and Advanced Language Expert Allowance: JPY 10,000 ~ JPY 130,000 per month, paid alongside base salary, if the employee fulfills the requirements.
  • Physical Communication Bonus: JPY 4,000 per day, applicable from October 2025 onwards, for coming to the office and interacting with other employees, paid out as bonus according to the number of days.
