Jamm is a fintech company operating in the payments space. We are underway developing an MVP that allows for smooth customer to business transactions, without using conventional credit card based payment systems.
We’re replacing credit cards
Credit cards are highly inefficient. They incur high transaction fees, are prone to fraud, and take 15~20% interest for those who can’t make their monthly payments. We are developing a low cost, highly fraud-proof, non-credit based systems to power transactions in Japan.
Stellar investment team
We have great VCs joining our pre-seed financing round. In addition we have a few great angel/advisors on our team, who are experts in the payment space (ex-CEO of one of the largest payment companies in Japan, Head of Japan of global payments company, among others).
International from the start
Our CEO is fully billingual in English and Japanese, being born, raised and educated in the US, joining the McKinsey Tokyo office, and joinig to a prop-tech startup before founding Jamm.
We are half international and half Japanese engineers. We operate internally fully in English, with English documentation and English internal meetings.
