About the position

As a QA Engineer, our goal is to shape the future of digital banking in Japan, making it more user-friendly and accessible than ever before.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and establishing development and quality assurance processes to ensure quality assurance measures.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage the QA process integrated with our CI/CD pipeline.
  • Planning test strategies, reporting defects, and making release decisions
  • Planning, creating, and executing test cases for functional and non-functional requirements
  • Facilitate consensus and strong alignment across key stakeholders (PdM, Development, SRE, Security, Operations, and Legal).

Requirements

  • QA or development experience (3+ years)
  • Experience in formulating software development processes or QA processes
  • Holder of ISTQB (including JSTQB) Foundation Level certification or equivalent knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in information processing or computer science
  • Interest in communication within a global development environment, as development is conducted jointly with overseas locations, and English will be used in work situations

Nice to haves

  • Experience in AI development and/or experience in using AI tools to improve development processes.
    • Money Forward is at a major turning point, shifting “from Cloud to AI.” We are currently driving “AX (AI Transformation)”—the next step beyond DX—with the goal of providing “Digital Workers,” where AI agents autonomously execute tasks. As we enter a phase of evolving into Japan’s No. 1 back-office AI company by integrating AI agents into all of our products in the future, we are looking for individuals who can contribute to AI-driven development and value creation.

Compensation

¥6,000,000 ~ ¥11,000,000 annually.
