As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building out and supporting our API Platform, which includes our authorization/authentication services, API Gateway, and MCPs.
The API Platform Development Team is responsible for supporting the development and deployment of public APIs across the entire Money Forward Cloud (MFC) product suite. Our services are used mainly by other development teams within Money Forward but have some exposure to our end-users as well.
You will be contributing to a foundational pillar of the MFC experience, supporting rapidly accelerating API development by product teams as we work towards being Japan’s #1 AI Native FinSaaS company.
Responsibilities
- Develop our API Platform using primarily Go, with some JavaScript/TypeScript and React for our user interfaces
- Enable product teams to rapidly expand and deploy their API suites, ensuring that our platform is reliable and secure
- Write scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code
- Be a leading voice within the team in both technical and product discussions
- Assist product teams and customers (via Customer Service members) with any inquiries or support requests they may have
- Understand the functional requirements defined by the Product Manager, and break them down into clear technical system requirements
- Collaborate with team members, Engineering Manager, Product Manager, and any other stakeholders
- Ship software to the production environment
- Ensure that our critical components are well monitored in production, and respond quickly to any issues or outages
Requirements
- Computer Science/Engineering Bachelor’s degree or related technical field
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience with OAuth/public API authentication schemes
- Experience with RDBMS
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Solution-oriented and result-driven
- Willingness to work with AI tools to enhance your productivity
- Successful track record of developing quality software products and shipping production-ready software
Nice to haves

- 3+ years of experience with Go

Compensation
¥7,008,000 ~ ¥11,004,000 annually.
