While this is a full stack role, it has a backend focus to it, where you’ll be helping us build and scale our robust infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Build from scratch new products overseeing the complete development cycle.
- Take a proactive role and ownership of the products you will work on
- Setup the whole application development lifecycle, including: architecture design, development, tests strategy, deployment to production, monitoring, alerting and support
- Build scalable software solutions that will grow rapidly in the next months minimizing technical debt
- Work on challenging problems that can have a direct impact on our users and company
- Work in a cross-functional team with design, product and operations
- Mentor team members and share knowledge to make the team grow
Requirements
- 5+ years as a Fullstack developer or similar role in fast-paced environments, ideally startups or scaleups
- Significant experience with Node.js based web framework such as Express.js or NestJS
- Significant experience with ReactJS, Angular, or Vue.
- This is a remote role, so you must hold valid work authorization in your country of residency. As we do not currently have an office in Japan, we are unable to support relocation here, nor candidates who need to work a Japanese employer to maintain their residency. We are considering opening an office in Japan in the future, at which point we may support relocation.
Nice to haves
While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.
- Development experience in Fintech services
- Experience in integrating payment solutions/providers to a native platform
- Experience with React Native
- Experience with smart contract technology
- Experience with Solidity and/or Golang
- Good understanding of both relational (Postgres, MySql) and document (Mongo) databases.
- Experience in serverless cloud services (AWS, GCP or Azure) and dev ops framework/tools.
Compensation
¥9,000,000 ~ ¥12,000,000 annually.
