Piece is an online marketplace for fractional real-estate securities. Investors can browse vetted properties, buy into individual assets in small tickets, track transparent reporting, and trade on a built-in secondary market.
We cater to young Europeans seeking small-scale investment opportunities as well as international investors looking to gain exposure to European markets. Backed by €2.7M in equity funding to date, our supporters include prominent VCs, institutional investors, and business angels, encompassing experts in both fintech and real estate.
While we don’t have an office in Japan yet, we’re considering establishing one in the future.
Led by a Japanese serial entrepreneur
Our CEO, Kentaro, is a Japanese serial entrepreneur. He successfully founded and exited an EdTech startup in Tokyo which grew to over 3 million active users. His prior experience also includes overseeing Asian investments at Bain Capital and serving as a consultant at McKinsey.
Piece has attracted customers from approximately 30 countries so far. To fuel our next growth phase, we are seeking proactive individuals to engage with customers, enhance our product offerings, and develop new customer acquisition strategies.
Intentionally small and global team
We are a lean, high-impact team of eight professionals, intentionally kept small to remain agile and collaborative. As a truly distributed company, our team members and clients span the globe, with colleagues working from the US to Hong Kong across multiple timezones.
Our product development is guided by a Product Manager who previously led initiatives at an esteemed European fintech unicorn. With two engineers currently on the team, we are looking to expand our technical capabilities.
