At THECOO, we're building Fanicon, an interactive fan community platform. Launched in December 2017, Fanicon is a subscription-based, premium fan community platform where fans can engage directly with their favorite artists and personalities. As of March 2022, Fanicon hosts over 2,300 communities and over 180,000 fans.

About the position

As our in-house service Fanicon enters the growth phase from 10 to 100, we are looking for a Technical Project Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate product vision and strategy, and drive collaboration with the development team
  • Understand user needs and market trends to develop a product roadmap
  • Define new features and technical requirements based on your technical expertise
  • Gather user feedback and lead product improvements
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables through regular reviews and evaluations

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate smoothly with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in product management for web services or mobile apps
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience working alongside engineers, or hands-on experience as an engineer
  • Fluent Japanese (You’ll need to interact with external development teams, including logistics and payment SaaS providers)

Nice to haves

While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.

  • Experience as a PM/PdM/TPdM
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
  • Understanding of data analysis and business intelligence tools
  • Possesses advanced technical knowledge and a strong passion for product development
  • Has a global mindset and the drive to build services that scale internationally
  • Excellent communicator who fosters seamless collaboration within teams
  • Able to evolve the product through discussion and continuous improvement
  • Always prioritizes the product perspective and can think comprehensively from strategy planning to execution

Compensation

7 to 12 million JPY annually.
