Starting with the major acquisition of a US firm, VISASQ has expanded its global footprint to 7 global offices. As the number of locations and international team members continues to grow, there is an urgent need to transition from locally optimized IT environments to unified, globally managed IT controls and operations.
The mission of this role is to scale our Headquarters’ forward-thinking IT strategy—which includes active business utilization of modern AI tools like Claude and Gemini, advanced SaaS integration, and internal DX initiatives—across all global offices to deliver a consistent IT experience and governance framework. Operating from Japan, you will serve as a bridge to support global team members, leading the planning, architecture, and operation of cross-border IT services and operating models.

- Architect Global IT Architecture from Scratch. Take ownership of core global IT strategies during an active global expansion phase. Move beyond mere operational maintenance to designing the global IT architecture of tomorrow.

Technical Challenges & Future Initiatives
- Global IT Operational Framework. Identify where global standardization is needed versus where local optimization is acceptable. Design scalable IT operating models capable of rapidly integrating new acquisitions and offices.
- Establishing Global IT Governance. Build governance mechanisms that balance corporate HQ controls with local branch operational flexibility while fulfilling diverse regional compliance and security requirements.
Responsibilities
Plan and design IT operations for global branches aligned with Headquarters’ IT strategy, while building, scaling, and operating globally utilized IT services.
- Global IT Planning & Standardization:
- Promote IT strategy and standardization adapted to local requirements, regulations, and existing setups across global offices (e.g., establishing global IT roadmaps, standardizing local onboarding and offboarding workflows).
- Global Service Architecture & Operation:
- Select, implement, and manage global SaaS, infrastructure, and security solutions (e.g., unified access control via Okta, Jamf, and Microsoft Intune; VoIP/messaging infrastructure using Zoom Phone; workflow system redesign).
- Global IT Operational Design & Execution:
- Establish operational frameworks that run seamlessly across different time zones and office sizes, collaborating with local IT teams (e.g., designing global helpdesk workflows, global IT asset inventory, incident escalation paths).
- Cross-Border IT Collaboration:
- Partner closely with local IT members to drive HQ policy adoption, gather local needs, and share best practices (e.g., hosting regular syncs, supporting local IT initiative rollouts, tracking global KPIs).
Requirements
- Corporate IT / Internal Systems Engineering Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in Corporate IT, Internal Systems, or IT Operations.
- Language Proficiency: Professional working proficiency in English (capable of writing, reading, and actively participating in global meetings/calls). Business level Japanese.
- Systems & SaaS Administration: Proven experience designing or operating iDaaS (e.g., Okta), MDM/EMM (e.g., Jamf, Microsoft Intune), or enterprise SaaS administration platforms.

Compensation
¥5,000,000 ~ ¥7,500,000 annually.
