We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Japanese market No code team as well as supporting our cloud infrastructure management duties. Responsibilities
- Ensuring the team has the tool and expertise required to fulfill its core mission on our main product
- Manage the operational sustainability of our production deliveries, including infrastructure, service procurement and third party provider management Facilitate the team’s ceremonies and remove blockers and impediments to support your team’s day-to-day operations.
- Provide visibility on your team needs, as well as the department infrastructure status, through reporting on the different metrics established with the head of the department and the team.
- Support the product team in delivering fast and high-quality business value.
- Be driven to enable cross team improvement on infrastructure stability, performance and cost with the help of other team’s experts.
- Identify the different architectural and technical debt challenges, and plan their improvement accordingly.
- Build relationships with your reports, support their career development and motivate members in achieving the team goals.
- Empower the engineers and maximize the team’s productivity by setting goals, performing evaluations, and utilizing data to improve operational workflow.
Requirements
- Over 3 years of Engineering management experience
- Over 5 years of experience designing and supporting software development, backend implementation experience is a plus.
- Over 2 years of hands-on experience with infrastructure management and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Experience in building and maintaining infrastructure using container management services such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of monitoring and observability tools (New Relic, Datadog, Sentry, etc.)
- Knowledge of incident management and on-call practices
- Experience with certificate management and PKI infrastructure

Compensation
¥10,000,000 ~ ¥12,500,000 annually.
