About the position

As a Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for working on our gaming platform G123 or in-house tools, mainly with React, to ensure a smooth user and employee experience. You will be working closely with the marketing department to increase the number and quality of users.

Responsibilities

  • Development and maintenance of our G123 platform to handle users, payment, links to social networks, etc.
  • Development and maintenance of several in-house tools for our employees and content provider
  • Coding and design of frontend features

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience with React / Angular / Vue or other frontend frameworks
  • Web frontend development/ frontend engineering
  • React.js or other modern web development framework and browser technologies
  • Can build complex layouts with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and HTML
  • Can build and and debug complex systems as part of a team
  • TypeScript, Webpack / Vite
  • Self-driven to solve problems
  • Good communication, teamwork, inter-team collaboration

Nice to haves

These aren’t required, but be sure to mention them in your application if you have them.

  • One server-side programming language (TypeScript, Go, JavaScript, Kotlin, Python)
  • PWA, Web Payments, Web Authentication API (WebAuthn), FedCM
  • WebSocket API (WebSockets), Web APIs, Local Storage
  • Kubernetes (K8s)
  • Can design websites or web applications
  • Experience in a startup environment
  • Can adapt to fast-paced coding and sprints

Compensation

Your compensation will be determined based on your experience as well as the whole interview process. Our salary range is as follows:

  • Level 1: 6-9M JPY
  • Level 2: 8-12M JPY
  • Level 3: 10-33M JPY

The first level is for individual contributors (junior positions), while the last level is for senior and management positions.

    You’ll take an online test via HackerRank. If we think you’re an exceptional match, we may skip this step.

  2. 2

    HR interview

    This is a friendly conversation with one of our recruiters where we’re checking that your general vibe matches, and answer any questions you might have.

  3. 3

    Technical screening

    The technical screening typically is two rounds of interviews, followed by an interview with the CTO.

  4. 4

    HRD Interview

    The final interview while be conducted with our Head of HR. You can ask questions, negotiate the salary and talk about the next steps.
