About the position

We are seeking a product manager to work with the Launchpad product, engineering, go-to-market, and intrapreneur teams to build and grow digital products from scratch, while contributing to foundational product organization work.

Our ideal product manager will have well-informed product perspectives, backed in evidence, experience and exceptional work products. They will actively seek ownership and accountability and will thrive in high-velocity environments. In return, Fujitsu Launchpad will provide the opportunity to conceptualize, launch and grow innovative products, while contributing to scalable frameworks and playbooks to be used across ventures.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product, design, engineering, go-to-market and intrapreneur teams to build compelling products which are loved by users, backed by sustainable business models which drive new venture revenue and growth.
  • Manage the development of products from pre-idea stages through product-market fit, guiding a lean team through research, ideation, validation, design, development, launch, and continued iteration and growth.
  • Conduct exploratory user and market research, seeking to deeply understand unmet needs and fuel the conceptualization of user-centric products and business models.
  • Create and manage documentation to drive collaborative product development, including product/business strategy documentation, OKRs, roadmaps, and detailed requirements scoping.
  • Drive continuous product iteration and growth through a data-informed approach, leveraging extensive product analytics and user feedback.
  • Collaborate with the go-to-market team to define business and pricing models, create financial projections, and manage the P&L for early stage products.
  • Contribute to defining and delivering repeatable product development frameworks, processes and toolkits to be leveraged as the Fujitsu Launchpad product team grows.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of launching and scaling SaaS products to meaningful levels of user and revenue growth, ideally with experience in diverse domains and customer segments.
  • 5+ years of experience managing products in a product-focused startup or scale-up, with quick iteration and release cycles.
  • Extensive experience collaborating closely with designers and engineers to build and grow high quality, user-centric products. A high level of proficiency with design & engineering collaboration tools is required: Figma, FigJam, Jira, Notion, etc.
  • Highly effective in structuring, conducting and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative user research, with especially deep experience in early exploratory research. Experience with user research tools for participant sourcing (e.g., User Interviews), surveys (e.g., Pollfish), and usability testing (e.g., Maze, UserTesting) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, especially in synthesizing quantitative and qualitative inputs from various sources, forming well-reasoned recommendations about highest impact opportunities, and executing rapidly to drive growth. Deep experience with Amplitude or similar product analytics tools is important.
  • Exceptional critical thinking capabilities, with the ability to learn quickly, work effectively cross-functionally across unfamiliar markets and industries, and quickly identify and improve product and business gaps.
  • Excellent writing skills, spanning the ability to articulate abstract concepts clearly and compellingly, hone UX copy, and craft value proposition narratives for target audiences.
  • Business-level English and Japanese communication skills (although we may also consider English-only candidates in some cases, depending on capabilities and experience).
