About HENNGE

HENNGE Shibuya-ku, Tokyo

HENNGE One, one of the top cloud security services in Japan, enables customers to adopt flexible work environments and safely harness the power of the cloud from any location.

Key benefits

  • Relocation support
  • Work life balance highly valued
  • Highly technical CEO

About the position

In HENNGE’s GIP: Front-end Engineering Pathway, you will acquire practical application development skills primarily in Typescript using React or Vue. GIP will provide you with hands-on experience using state-of-the-art cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services and offer a real-world experience for application development.

Our primary working language is English, so no Japanese is required. Interns are expected to join the program at our Shibuya headquarters in Tokyo for 4-5 weeks, Monday to Friday, from 10 AM to 7 PM (JST). While the program is unpaid, we provide comprehensive subsidies, and outstanding participants may be offered full-time employment opportunities.

Front end Engineering Pathway

  • Master application development in TypeScript with React or Vue.
  • Immerse yourself in front-end frameworks and design impactful user experiences.
  • Internship Flow:
    • Weeks 1-4: Application Development Training
    • Week 5: DevOps Training

Available batches

  • Nov 17 - Dec 19 (Front-end)

Applicants can apply for multiple batches in one application as long as they are in the same pathway. If you are interested in applying for both pathways, please submit separate applications using different email address for the coding challenges. Once enrolled in the program, interns cannot change pathways midway.

The internship slots for each batch are limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Our team will review applications on a rolling basis, so it is in your best interest to apply early. Applications will be closed after the slots have been filled. Solving time will not be considered during the screening process. Please note that the application is completed after uploading application documents and filling in the batch preferences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (third-year students and above are welcome), or equivalent experience from a tech internship or bootcamp.
  • Proficiency in frontend frameworks such as React or Vue in Typescript
