Responsibilities
- Join our development team to enhance our advanced logistics platform.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to implement new features.
- Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Grow your skills through teamwork, brainstorming sessions, and code reviews.
- Expand your knowledge in digital forwarding and logistics concepts.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience as a back-end engineer
- Good understanding of Ruby, Ruby and Rails. You may substitute this experience with other languages such as Go, Python, etc., but as most of the back-end is written in Ruby, you must be comfortable with using Ruby
- Good level of understanding systems architecture, data structures, and design patterns
- Some experience in dealing SQL databases
- Intellectually curious and eager to take on new challenges
- Fast learning and being able to adapt to new technologies
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Motivation to learn digital forwarding and logistics concepts
- Good communication skills and ability to write technical documentation
Nice to haves
While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.
- Communication skills in Japanese, or the willingness to take on that challenge
- Experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.)
- Experience with building platforms that incorporate cybersecurity requirements
- Full-stack or front-end experience (Javascript, React, Node.js, etc.)
Compensation
5 to 7 million JPY annually.
