Responsibilities
- Lead the development of our advanced logistics platform.
- Work with product managers and designers to implement new platform features.
- Act as an experienced leader to our team by reviewing code and mentoring juniors.
Requirements
- Extensive (5+ years) experience as a back-end engineer
- Proficiency with Ruby, and Rails. You may substitute this experience with other languages such as Go, Python, etc., but as most of the back-end is written in Ruby, you must be comfortable with using Ruby
- Experience with SQL databases, DB modeling, and ORMs
- Experience designing REST APIs or GraphQL endpoints
- Strong grasp of security principles and best practices
- Solid architectural understanding, data structures, and design patterns
- Ability to quickly understand business requirements, and translate it into an appropriate architecture design
- Ability to autonomously manage tasks and create clear technical documentation

- Communication skills in Japanese are highly appreciated
- Experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.)
- Intellectually curious and eager to take on new challenges
- Interested in working on B2B development by leveraging your own development experience
Compensation
7 to 10 million JPY annually.
