We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver custom development projects focused on API integrations between TableCheck and external systems designated by hotel enterprise clients. You will manage end-to-end project execution while coordinating across internal engineering, QA, and business teams, and serving as a key liaison for both Japanese- and English-speaking client stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- End-to-End Project Management
- Lead the full lifecycle of custom development projects, specifically focused on third-party API integrations.
- Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, risks, and resource allocations.
- Ensure clear documentation of requirements and ongoing progress updates for all stakeholders.
- Client Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for both Japanese- and English-speaking clients.
- Translate business requirements into actionable tasks for internal teams.
- Facilitate regular meetings, status updates, and communication in both Japanese and English.
- Team & Internal Coordination
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with engineers, QA, and internal stakeholders (both Japanese- and English-speaking).
- Monitor project dependencies, escalate risks early, and ensure timely resolutions.
- Quality & Delivery Assurance
- Ensure that deliverables meet the specifications, standards, and timelines agreed upon with clients.
- Collaborate with QA to verify integrations prior to release. Coordinate with internal stakeholders for smooth go-live planning and communication.
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience, including at least 2 years handling custom software development for enterprise clients.
- Strong familiarity with API-based projects or managing systems integrations with external vendors.
- Comfortable leading distributed, multicultural teams.
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid development environments.
- Business-level Japanese.
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in project tools like Jira, Asana, Confluence, etc.
- Must be based in an Asia timezone; Japan-based candidates are strongly preferred.
