About the position

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver custom development projects focused on API integrations between TableCheck and external systems designated by hotel enterprise clients. Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Project Management
    • Lead the full lifecycle of custom development projects, specifically focused on third-party API integrations.
    • Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, risks, and resource allocations.
    • Ensure clear documentation of requirements and ongoing progress updates for all stakeholders.
  • Client Communication & Stakeholder Management
    • Act as the primary point of contact for both Japanese- and English-speaking clients.
    • Translate business requirements into actionable tasks for internal teams.
    • Facilitate regular meetings, status updates, and communication in both Japanese and English.
  • Team & Internal Coordination

    • Monitor project dependencies, escalate risks early, and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Quality & Delivery Assurance
    • Ensure that deliverables meet the specifications, standards, and timelines agreed upon with clients.
    • Collaborate with QA to verify integrations prior to release. Coordinate with internal stakeholders for smooth go-live planning and communication.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience, including at least 2 years handling custom software development for enterprise clients.
  • Strong familiarity with API-based projects or managing systems integrations with external vendors.
  • Comfortable leading distributed, multicultural teams.
  • Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid development environments.
  • Business-level Japanese.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency in project tools like Jira, Asana, Confluence, etc.
  • Must be based in an Asia timezone; Japan-based candidates are strongly preferred.
