To expand our product lineup, we are looking for a senior backend engineer to join our team that works for new services. You will mainly be responsible for developing a new product utilizing machine learning techniques and generative AI from a proof of concept into a releasable product.
Responsibilities
- Work with other engineers, designers, and product leads to implement various features while considering performance, security, and reliability
- Investigate and solve issues that occur in specific browsers and applications
- Web application development using Go and TypeScript.
- Facilitate future development by continually improving the existing systems architecture, code quality, CI/CD pipeline, etc.
- Work with other teams to improve our E2E test automation product built with Appium, Selenium, Webdriver, etc.
- Proactively identify functions that can be improved, and suggest possible solutions in the technical aspects and product-related ideas
- Participate in on-call rotations for incident & alert handling
Requirements
- Being able to work in Japan standard time (Working partially in JST can be discussed)
- Over five years of experience in web development specializing in backend and some experience in frontend languages/frameworks.
- Experience in developing backend with Go.
- Experience in infrastructure with Docker, AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience in developing frontend with Typescript or Javascript
- Modern development experience with Agile or Scrum.

- Experience with LLM and other machine learning technologies
- Proficient in the process of analyzing, hypothesizing, and testing
- Experience in E2E test automation with Selenium and Appium
- Experience in developing backend with Rails or Ruby
Compensation
8 to 10 million JPY annually.
