About the position

The OperationDX division of Givery helps businesses automate their operations and improve productivity. We have provided AI chatbot and AI FAQ services in the past. With the introduction of ChatGPT, we’ve been migrating our existing services to use it, and also introducing a new service, Corporate GAI Powered by GPT-4, that makes it easy to use ChatGPT in a corporate environment, addressing concerns about information security.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, operate, and maintain web applications utilizing Open AI and Azure Open AI
  • Design modules with maintainability in mind
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop new features
  • Create design documents
  • Plan data migrations and refactor code

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Backend/API development and maintenance
  • 3+ years of Python web application development (Flask, FastAPI, etc)
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud services such as Azure and AWS
  • 3+ years of experience using RDBMs (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc)
  • Experience designing and developing micro-services
  • CI/CD, unit testing, automation and agile development experience
  • If not already permitted to work in Japan, eligible to obtain a visa (typically a university degree or at least 10 years of relevant working experience is required)

Nice to haves

While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.

  • Passion and knowledge about ML/LLMs/RAG systems (personal projects are ok too!)
  • Experience developing automated tests using testing frameworks like pytest
  • Experience with data migration and micro-service system design.
  • Experience and knowledge with application and server monitoring tools like Datadog, Grafana, etc

Compensation

7 to 10 million JPY annually.
