About Quollio Technologies, Inc

Quollio Technologies, Inc Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo

Quollio Technologies provides products that enable Enterprise Data Intelligence. We platformize essential information required for organizational decision-making and operational data utilization, starting from metadata management to overseeing data presence and flow across departments.

About the position

As the first dedicated QA professional, you will serve as a cornerstone in ensuring the quality and stability of our products. As Quollio enters a pivotal phase of growth, characterized by the expansion of our engineering team and the acceleration of product development, the importance of maintaining impeccable standards of quality and stability cannot be overstated. By bringing on board an experienced QA Engineer, we aim to propel our startup to the next level, ensuring that we continue to meet and exceed the expectations of our users and stakeholders. This position calls for a seasoned individual who can provide leadership and guidance as our team grows.

You will play a pivotal role in two key areas: the holistic design of testing processes, including both manual and automated methodologies, and quality management of UI/UX pertaining to the Japanese language.

At Quollio, while we currently have minimal testing phases such as pre-release QA and unit testing in place, there is a need to allocate resources towards a more comprehensive testing approach. With the addition of a dedicated QA Engineer, we aim to establish exhaustive test cases for new features, design standards and processes for quality, and elevate the overall product standards. Ideally, candidates should possess knowledge and experience in UI automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Vitest, React testing library, etc., to facilitate the implementation of automated testing.

Moreover, given Quollio’s focus on penetrating the Japanese enterprise market, ensuring the quality of Japanese language integration is paramount. While our development team comprises international members communicating primarily in English, sensitivity to Japanese-specific UI/UX issues, such as the naturalness of Japanese text used in the UI and the ability to conduct searches as expected in Japanese, is essential.

  • Continuously improving QA processes and providing constructive feedback to developers

Requirements

  • Over 3 years of experience leading the QA process for actively used services
  • Over 3 years of experience in overall test design, defining comprehensive test cases, and their execution
  • Over 1 year of experience conducting QA for Japanese-language based services utilizing professional-level Japanese language skills
