You’ll be part of the Product team, working alongside the Lead Backend Engineer, Lead Frontend Engineer and other team members (UX Designers, Test Engineers, etc.) to expand our product offering to both our customers – freelancers and companies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the existing codebase of our application
- Build new business features using readable, maintainable, and reliable Ruby and React code
- Help identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs
- Implement best practices of automated testing and unit tests
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and documentation
Requirements
- 4+ years of full-stack development experience, with Ruby on Rails and React (Typescript) being a core part of your experience. You should have experience building and using modern APIs.
- Very comfortable working in a team environment, asking questions to fellow developers or other team members to better define the scope and functionality of the feature you are building.
- You work well in a team but can also operate independently to accomplish what needs to be done!
- Git & GitHub experience

- Startup experience
- Familiarity with Japanese and working with the Japanese language in terms of design and development, including multi-language websites
- Hands-on Next.js experience
- RSpec or Playwright experience
- Storybook experience

Compensation
¥4,000,000 ~ ¥6,500,000 annually.
