Responsibilities
- Design and develop infrastructure for Synspective’s software solutions ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
- Develop and maintain a monitoring mechanism for our solutions
- Optimize Cloud usage costs and alerts
- Maintain infrastructure for data processing pipelines
- Design and implement infrastructure for new data processing
- Drive the architecture of the cloud infrastructure for our geoscience analytics platform with other SREs
- Ensure the safety and security of our cloud infrastructure
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and SREs
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an SRE/DevOps
- Experience building customer-facing cloud-native systems on one of the major cloud providers using Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with Infrastructure as a code
- Good knowledge and experience with computer networking, and SSL.
- Experience in SLA/SLO definition and implementation monitoring SLI
- Experience in setting up and maintaining monitoring for the company’s software
- Experience in designing and developing microservices
- Experience working with Linux based systems
- Experience in software development for internal use (requirement gathering, designing, programming and maintenance)
- Experience in working in a team loosely following agile methodology
- Ability to exchange requirements and align with non-SRE teams

- Ability to communicate in Japanese
- Experience managing Argo workflows
Compensation
8 to 11 million JPY annually.
