Responsibilities

You will play a vital role in driving data utilization for ‘Money Forward ME’ and accelerating business growth. Working closely with business departments such as marketing and sales, you will be responsible for everything from analysis design to the planning and execution of measures to solve business challenges.

Specifically, you will lead the development of a beneficial data mart environment (datasets) within our internal analysis platform for members across all job functions related to ‘Money Forward ME.’ Beyond supporting data-driven decision-making, we expect you to contribute to the product development itself through the power of data.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in building, operating, and continuously improving data analysis environments to support decision-making.
• Ability to quickly grasp new technology stacks and business requirements, translating them into tangible practical outcomes.
• Experience in the development and operation of cloud-based distributed databases, such as BigQuery or Redshift.
• Proficiency in data processing and analysis using SQL.
• Experience in developing and operating data pipelines using data workflow systems such as Apache Airflow or dbt.
• Ability to perform statistical analysis and machine learning using Python, R, or similar languages.
• Business Level Japanese skills (Capable of handling communication with clients in Japanese)

Nice to haves

While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.

• Experience reporting analysis results to internal and external decision-makers and providing data-driven recommendations.
• Solid knowledge of statistics, such as holding certifications like the Japan Statistical Society Certificate (Statistical Test).
• Experience extracting and preparing data in desired formats for yourself and stakeholders by deciphering complex data specifications (including spreadsheets, not limited to databases).
• Experience analyzing financial data (securities, insurance, banking, credit cards, etc.) or purchase history data such as ID-POS data.
• Experience in AI development and/or experience in using AI tools to improve development processes.
  • Money Forward recently announced our AI Strategy roadmap which focuses on improving AI-driven operational efficiencies, as well as integrating AI agents into our products to deliver better value to our users.

Compensation

¥6,900,000 ~ ¥11,004,000 annually.
