Adgorithmics is looking for full stack developers to join their team, no Japanese ability required. In cases of exceptional matches, they’re willing to consider overseas candidates.
Their languages of choice are JavaScript and Python. On the front end, they’re using React, and on the backend, frameworks such as Node.js, Django and Flask. For persisting data, they’re primarily using Postgres, MongoDB and Redis. You don’t need to be fluent with all these technologies, rather, they’re looking for someone with an open mind and can pick up new tools.
On the project management side of things, they started with Scrum, but switched to kanban. While they now have well established, documented processes, they are written with pencil, not carved in stone, and strive to continuously improve them. They place importance on consistency, but not at the cost of productivity, as they see it as a sign the process is broken and needs to change.
