As a Platform Engineering Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the client’s core infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of modern infrastructure technologies, cloud services, and automation. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and product management, to translate strategic vision into technology.
Responsibilities
- Design and Build: Develop and maintain the core infrastructure of our platform, ensuring it is scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Automation: Implement automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
- Monitoring and Performance: Set up and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure the health and performance of the platform.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design and implement new features and services.
- Security: Implement and maintain best practices for security and compliance.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
- Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure as code (Terraform), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog.
- Understanding of security best practices and experience implementing them in cloud environments.
