We need someone with strong backend experience who is comfortable working across the stack and can architect improvements to our product.
Our web application stack is written in Javascript (React.js / Node.js), Typescript, GraphQL and deployed on GCP (serverless, bigquery, microservices). We also use Postgres and Hasura.
This is a comprehensive role where you will have considerable ownership on the products you work on and if learning new technologies and experimenting with new features is something you are comfortable with then this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Mentoring team members and reviewing their code
- Improvement of existing system architecture
- Backend application development using typescript and node.js
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience, with 2+ years at a single company
- 3+ years of professional experience working on the backend
- Experience communicating with non-engineers, especially communicating with product design, product manager and business development team members.
- Experience with test driven development
- Experience with CI/CD tools, such as GitHub Actions, Circle CI

Compensation
6 to 9 million JPY annually + stock options.
