About the position

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Web UI/UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating visually appealing and user-friendly web designs that effectively communicate our brand identity and business goals. As a Senior Web UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing exceptional user interfaces for websites and web applications, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other designers to conceptualize and create visually appealing, user-centered web designs.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries to ensure consistent and cohesive design across all projects.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze user feedback to inform and refine design decisions.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure the accurate implementation of design specifications and to address any design-related issues.
  • Provide design leadership and mentorship to junior designers, helping them grow and develop their skills.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on web design.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional web design projects and a deep understanding of UI/UX principles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web design and user experience.

Nice to haves

While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.

  • Experience with software engineering.
  • Business level English and Japanese language proficiency

Compensation

7 to 8.5 million JPY annually.
